If early morning were the break out and back test movement, the breakout position would be 1691.
I think it's better to use 1682 rather than 1676 as the starting point.
So the target would be 1700 (rather than 1706).

For bear case, 1696.x should be the top.

Looking at previous 4 days' chart, 1691 as a break out point is actually too high. 1688 is more reasonable. Then the top would be just 1994/1700.

I know 1696.75>1694. So the top might have already been behind.

1696.47-1682.42=14.33
14.33/3=4.78
1696.47-4.78=1691.69

The worst case for bear is that SPX pulls back at 1691, then up.
Before 1691-1692 is tested, bear is safe.
(Of course, breaking down 1691 is even better for bear.)

1696.47-1682.42 middle point is 1689.57.
Decisively break it (like down under 1688) means switching back to bear's turn.
