Stocks rallied today despite the Syrian situation and rising speculation an U.S.-led intervention will likely occur in the near future.
The S&P 500 and Dow remain below their respective 50-day MA and is vulnerable to additional selling given the heightened market risk.
The only thing is the Fed may hold back from its tapering should the situation in Syria worsens.
We saw some profit taking in the metals and oil, which will benefit if the conflict in Syria intensifies.
On the docket tomorrow will be the Q2 GDP and whether the advance reading of 1.7% holds.
Going forward, I'm not that optimistic towards the Q3 and Q4.
The key now is to make sure you have some Put options in place. Also you may want to lighten your exposure to equities and have some cash available for a possible sell-off.
