Donald Trump is not 'the right' guy to be U.S. president, Tesla's Elon Musk says
Tesla Motors Inc. Chief Executive Elon Musk spoke up against Republican U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump on an interview Friday.
"I think a bit strongly that (Trump) is probably not the right guy" for the presidency, and wouldn't be the best candidate to represent the U.S. abroad, he told CNBC.
Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton's economic and environmental policies "are the right ones," Musk said.
The current U.S. political climate is not at its best, Musk said. However, the election results are unlikely to have much bearing on the future of Tesla (TSLA), he said.
