据说很快，俺现在也是core duo的，这就跟iphone出了新款，粉丝排队去抢购一样，俺感恩节也准备搞一台i7...

i3/i5/i7 much faster than duo core PC

i3/i5/i7 put image/vedio processing parts inside the CPU die.  Dual Core serials , the image processing parts are different chip from CPU.  So i3/i5/i7 is running much faster if there're lots of image/vedio related process in your application.
