| Analysts at Baird on Monday raised their price target on Tesla Motors Inc. (TSLA) stock to $335, from $275, and reiterated their buy rating on the stock. Investor sentiment about Tesla has improved recently, but some skepticism remains about Tesla's new energy storage line, the launch of its SUV, and overall demand for its cars and products, the analysts said. "We think upcoming events will help improve sentiment and drive shares higher," they said. Shares of Tesla rose 3.2% Monday. The stock has risen 16% so far this year, and 23% in the past 12 months. That compares with gains of 1.4% and 7%, respectively, for the S&P 500 Index . |
